Arthur
Arthur came into the Sanctuary because his elderly owner could no longer cope.He is about 7 months old, neutered, and is fully vaccinated. He is completly deaf
[very common in all-white cats] so needs an indoor home.
He is very friendly and outgoing.

Arthur has a new home and a new name [Boo]
and lives with Michelle in Skelmersdale

Ronnie has lived happily at the Sanctuary for several years, sleeping in the staff room
and wandering in the grounds. Last year after a severe middle ear infection he had his ear canel removed, which saved his life but left him deaf and with a slight head tilt.He
has suddenly decided that he wants a Home of his own and keeps wandering off crossing a very busy road and scrounging food from at least 5 different houses.
Ronnie now has a home with Alarna from Preston

Rosie
Rosie was handed in as unwanted pet from Liverpool
She is a little timid but with plenty of TLC, she
will give a life time of love and affection.
Rosie will be spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped.

Rosie has her forever home now

Tia and Florence came into the sanctuary as unwanted pets. On admitance Florence was found to have abnormal test results, but after 3 months in isolation she returned to normal and was
re-united with Tia.
They have both gone to their forever home with Mr and Mrs Ball in Holmeswood

Bonny was handed in as an unwanted pet from Liverpool, she was very friendly and craved attention..After being spayed and vaccinated Bonny went to a new home to live with a neutured male rabbit..

This is Cheri below, she was admitted into Woodlands Animal Sanctuary after being found trapped in a Warehouse in Burscough.
I am delighted to say Gillian, one of our regular volunteers has offered her a home
This is Bebe left, she was admitted into Woodlands Animal Sanctuary after being dumped on a Trustees door step, she is approximately 4 months old and is very friendly.

Bebe has a loving forever home

BISCUIT & HARRY
Biscuit came into the sanctuary via the RSPCA as his owner had to go into residential care, leaving him. His companions Cookie and Jodie are already on the way to their forever home, leaving Biscuit waiting patiently.
He has made friends with Harry a beauiful black kitten aged 4 1/2 months and they are both vet checked, tested for aids and leukemia, fully vaccinated and have been micro-chipped.
Harry has a new home with his litter
sister whos owners very kindly came back for him, Biscuit has moved into the
Staff room at the Shelter, but would still like a forever home of his own one day
.

Topsy was abandoned at the end of our drive in her hutch with Nibbles on 12 3 07
We were alerted by an anonymous text message
Topsy was in good condition but when she went into a large cabin and run she bullied Nibbles so they had to be parted. They are both settled
in their new homes

Carla and Bob were handed in when the owner emigrated and declined to take them with her. They are both five years old and very sweet natured. Happily they are now in their
home
WE ARE DELIGHTED TO SAY BOTH HAVE NEW HOMES
Lopsy and Topsy were both cruelly abandoned. When they came to Woodlands we introduced
them and they are now firm friends.

Renee was admitted to the sanctuary on the 8/03/07. Renee is a black and white Dutch. She lived as a house rabbit and was brought to the sanctuary after the landlord where she lived told her owner that no pets were allowed.
Rennie is now happilly settled in her new
home

STOP PRESS LULU HAS A LOVELY NEW HOME IN SKELMERSDALE
Lulu was rescued from under a shed in Liverpool by caring neighbours with her 5 young kittens. She reared her family but when she went to be vaccinated she was FIV (aids) positive. This is not infectious to people or dogs but could be to other cats. Therefore she needs a loving home where she is the only cat and stays indoors Do you think this cat deserves another chance??? In return she will, give you lots of love and affection.

Jessie was handed in as an unwanted pet with her kittens. She had previously lost a leg but copes without a problem. Since then she has fostered 2 more motherless litters of kittens and we feel she really deserves a loving permanent home where she can enjoy life to the full, probably for the first time.
All now have loving forever homes

Roxanne.
She was admitted to Woodlands Animal Sanctuary on 20th February 2008.
She is friendly, but is quiet and keeps herself to herself.
Roxanne now has her forever home.
