Feedback from Gizmo's new owner:
Thought I'd just let you know how the lad is doing...
He settled in fairly quickly; he traded me two sessions sat on my lap for three blood samples on his first night...litter tray and (obviously) food area identified and used immediately.
He's now had a good grooming, removing all the nasty knots on his lower back and is much happier as a result; as I type, he is rolling on his back at my feet. Today has been his first day out unsupervised - no problem. He has, though, developed a habit of using my feet as a pillow when I'm in bed.
Next challenge will be getting him to/from the vets.
