This area is dedicated to the care of our much loved Bunnies in need of loving homes!

If you are thinking of giving a much needed home to one of our rabbits there are a few pointers to think about:

First of all you will need a hutch and run; some hutches do come with runs attached, make sure you have a good shop around as they can be quite expensive. The size of hutch for your rabbit needs to be approx 2/3' X 5/6' (depending on the adult size of your bunny) the bigger the better! Your rabbits run needs to be tall enough for your rabbit to stand up in and long enough for a good bit of exercise. Alternatively a safe secure garden to run free!!
DO BE AWARE OF PREDATORS!!!! BIRDS!!! CATS!!!! Rabbits are quite easy to train and will also wander around on a harness with you…….

Rabbits need regular health checks, sometimes needing frequent trips to the veterinary surgeons for teeth and nail clipping. Not all rabbits need their teeth clipping.

Diet should be varied and contain mostly good quality fresh hay and fresh greens. Concentrated food should only be 10% of the overall diet.

Guinea pigs are very simalar in their requirements and again crave company.

We will give any advise necessary hopefully for the life of your new pet.
